This Cookie Policy explains how GTM Gate uses cookies, local storage, session storage, extension storage and similar technologies. It applies to the public website, the app, the private beta experience and the Chrome extension where applicable.

5. Third-Party Technologies
Some third-party services used by GTM Gate may set or rely on their own cookies or storage technologies:
- Supabase may use authentication/session technologies to keep users signed in
- Google may use cookies when you choose Google sign-in
- Vercel or another hosting provider may process technical request data for hosting, security and performance
- Resend or another email provider may process email delivery metadata for transactional emails
- Chrome may manage extension permissions and storage according to browser platform rules
These services are governed by their own policies. GTM Gate does not control every cookie or storage mechanism used by third-party platforms.
6. Chrome Extension Storage
If you install the GTM Gate Chrome extension, the extension may use browser or extension storage to remember blocked tool settings, connection status, discipline mode, build access state and recent diagnostic events.
This storage is used to make Build Access work inside your browser. Removing or disabling the extension, clearing browser data or changing Chrome permissions may affect blocking and reminder behavior.
7. Managing Cookies
You can manage cookies and browser storage through your browser settings. Most browsers let you view, block or delete cookies and site data. You can also remove the Chrome extension through Chrome's extension settings.
Disabling essential cookies or clearing local storage may log you out, remove preferences, clear onboarding drafts or prevent parts of GTM Gate from working correctly.
8. Consent
Essential cookies and storage are used because they are necessary to provide GTM Gate. Functional storage is used to remember preferences and improve the service.
If GTM Gate enables non-essential analytics or marketing cookies in the future, we will update this policy and provide a consent mechanism where required by applicable law.
9. Changes
We may update this Cookie Policy as GTM Gate evolves, as new tools are added or as legal requirements change. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows the latest revision.
