Terms of Service
The rules for using GTM Gate, the private beta, the dashboard and the Chrome extension.
These Terms are written for transparency around the current GTM Gate product and beta. If your company requires specific contractual terms, contact us before using GTM Gate in production.
1. Introduction
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of GTM Gate, including the website, web application, private beta, dashboard, beta signup flow, email communications and Chrome extension.
GTM Gate is a distribution-first productivity tool built to help SaaS founders complete daily go-to-market actions before returning to build work. By accessing or using GTM Gate, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. What GTM Gate Provides
GTM Gate provides software features that help you create, track and enforce a daily GTM routine. Depending on your access level and configuration, the service may include:
- Daily GTM mission planning and completion tracking
- Progress, streak and consistency dashboards
- Build Access settings that define when build tools should unlock
- Private beta access management
- Email notifications related to beta access or product usage
- A Chrome extension that can block or remind you before opening selected build tools
- Templates, blog posts and educational resources about GTM habits
GTM Gate is a discipline and workflow tool. It does not replace your own business judgment, sales process, legal advice, financial advice or marketing strategy.
3. Eligibility
To use GTM Gate, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction
- Have the authority to accept these Terms for yourself or the organization you represent
- Use the service only in compliance with applicable laws and regulations
- Not be prohibited from using the service under applicable law
4. Account Registration and Security
You may need an account to access the private beta, dashboard, Build Access features or Chrome extension connection. You agree to provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for all activity under your account
- You must keep your sign-in methods and devices secure
- You must notify us if you suspect unauthorized access
- You may not share, sell or transfer your account without our permission
We may suspend or restrict access if we believe your account has been compromised, used abusively, or used in violation of these Terms.
5. Private Beta Access
GTM Gate may operate as a private beta. Beta access is limited, manually approved and may be accepted, refused, paused or revoked at our discretion.
- Submitting an email does not guarantee beta access
- Approved beta users may receive an invitation or login link by email
- Features may be experimental, incomplete, delayed or changed without notice
- Beta access does not guarantee free or continued access after the beta period
- We may use beta feedback to improve, modify or discontinue features
Private beta notice
During beta, GTM Gate may change quickly. You should not rely on beta features for mission-critical business operations without a backup workflow.
6. GTM Missions, Proofs and Progress
GTM Gate lets you define daily missions, targets, proofs, penalties, progress and streaks. You remain responsible for the missions you create and the accuracy of the proofs or confirmations you submit.
- You should not submit false, misleading or unlawful proof
- You should not upload confidential information you are not allowed to share
- Progress, streaks and dashboards are informational and may not always be perfectly accurate during beta
- A completed mission in GTM Gate does not guarantee sales, revenue, growth or product-market fit
7. Build Access and Chrome Extension
Build Access features are designed to create friction before you open selected build tools. Depending on your configuration, GTM Gate may remind you, show friction screens or block access through the Chrome extension.
- Blocking behavior depends on browser permissions, extension status and your configuration
- The extension cannot control tools outside its technical scope, such as desktop applications or unsupported browsers
- You are responsible for choosing which websites or tools to block
- You should not use Build Access in a way that creates safety, legal, employment or operational risk
- You can remove or disable the extension through your browser settings
Important limitation
Build Access is a productivity mechanism, not a security system. It is meant to support your discipline, not to provide access control for sensitive systems.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse GTM Gate. You must not:
- Use the service for unlawful, harmful, fraudulent or abusive purposes
- Attempt to bypass security, beta access controls or account restrictions
- Interfere with the service, servers, networks or other users
- Upload malicious code, malware, spam or harmful content
- Reverse engineer, scrape or copy the service except where permitted by law
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation
- Use GTM Gate to harass, spam or unlawfully contact prospects or users
9. User Content and Feedback
You may add project information, mission descriptions, notes, proof links, blocked tool settings, onboarding answers, feedback and other content to GTM Gate. You keep ownership of your content.
By submitting content, you grant GTM Gate a limited, non-exclusive right to host, process, display and use that content only as needed to operate, secure, support and improve the service.
If you send feedback, suggestions or ideas, we may use them without restriction or compensation, while respecting our Privacy Policy.
10. Third-Party Services
GTM Gate may rely on or connect with third-party services to provide the product, including authentication, hosting, database infrastructure, email delivery and browser extension APIs.
- Supabase may be used for database, authentication and backend infrastructure
- Google may be used as an authentication provider if you choose Google sign-in
- Resend or another email provider may be used to send beta and product emails
- Vercel or another hosting provider may be used to host the website and application
- Chrome browser APIs may be used by the extension if installed
- External tools such as Cursor, Lovable, Claude, Replit, GitHub, Figma or ChatGPT may be referenced only to configure reminders or blocking rules
Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. GTM Gate is not responsible for third-party products, outages, policy changes or data practices outside our control.
11. Fees, Subscriptions and Future Paid Plans
GTM Gate may be free during the private beta. We may introduce paid plans, limits, trials or subscriptions in the future.
- We will present pricing before charging you
- You will not be charged unless you explicitly provide payment details and confirm a paid plan
- Beta access does not guarantee lifetime free access
- Future billing terms may be added when paid plans are launched
12. Intellectual Property
GTM Gate, including its design, software, workflows, text, graphics, templates, branding and product concepts, is owned by GTM Gate or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.
These Terms give you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use GTM Gate for its intended purpose. They do not transfer ownership of the product, code, brand, templates or other materials to you.
13. Privacy and Cookies
Your use of GTM Gate is also governed by our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which explain how we collect, use and protect information related to the service.
14. Availability and Product Changes
We aim to keep GTM Gate useful and available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free or permanent access. The service may be unavailable because of maintenance, updates, outages, third-party issues or beta changes.
We may modify, add, remove, rename or discontinue features at any time, especially during beta. We may also update default settings, templates, missions, dashboards or extension behavior.
15. No Guaranteed Business Results
GTM Gate helps you build consistency around distribution, but it does not guarantee any specific outcome.
- We do not guarantee revenue, sales, users, funding or product-market fit
- We do not guarantee that any GTM mission, DM, post, call or outreach action will produce results
- You remain responsible for your strategy, messaging, offers, compliance and business decisions
The service is provided "as is" and "as available" to the fullest extent permitted by law.
16. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, GTM Gate and its team will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, including loss of profits, revenue, data, customers, goodwill or business opportunity.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid to GTM Gate in the 12 months before the claim or EUR 100.
Your mandatory rights
Some laws do not allow certain exclusions or limitations. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot legally be limited.
17. Suspension and Termination
You may stop using GTM Gate at any time. We may suspend, restrict or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, create risk for the service, abuse beta access, misuse the extension or use the service in a harmful way.
After termination, your right to use GTM Gate ends immediately. Sections that are meant to survive termination, such as intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability and privacy-related obligations, will continue to apply.
18. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as GTM Gate evolves. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and may provide additional notice when appropriate. Continued use of GTM Gate after updated Terms are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
